Rejoice Anyway!
How do Christian families survive the economic downturn? What about churches and Pastor’s trying to manage budgets? Habakkuk gives us guidance from his own experience.
In Chapter 3 he said, 17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,…
Job loss? Salary freeze? Home value nose dive? Big loss in the stock market? Retirement savings all but gone? More month at the end of the money? What was Habakkuk’s response?
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.
Habakkuk reminds us today to joyfully worship the Lord even in time of lack. He will be our strength, and He will take you to new heights. Rejoice Anyway!
